How to get there

The conference venue is the Informatics buildings: Ole-Johan Dahl’s and Kristen Nygaard’s hus (buildings), and Forskningsparken (the Research Park) at the University of Oslo campus Blindern. The main conference building is Ole-Johan Dahl’s building, where the first day of the conference will be held in the Smalltalk auditorium. Right inside the main entrance you will find the Registration desk.

The easiest way to get to the ECSCW’2015 conference venue is by metro line 4 or 6 to Forskningsparken station, see the metro map with prices. There are ticket machines on every station, but you can also buy a day card (or a week card) or a discount travel card at major stations (Oslo Central, The National Theatre and Majorstuen). The city tram lines 17 and 18 towards Rikshospitalet (The Mational hospital) will also take you to the ECSCW’2015 conference venue.

At the metro station you will see the big black Ole-Johan Dahl building next to it. The entrance that is closest to the metro station enters the building on 2nd floor: you go down the stairs to the 1st floor and continue to until you reach the main entrance. Or you can walk along the building on the back side of the building (not facing the metro line) to the main entrance.
